Everything you need to write about us without emailing us.
Lullable is a sleep app that gives away the ending of every story in the first minute, so there is no reason to stay awake for it. There is no sleep score anywhere in the product. Copy anything on this page verbatim — that is what it is for.
The one-liner
40 words. Lift it as written.
Lullable is a free sleep app that reads fascinating true stories so softly you fall asleep mid-sentence. Every story gives away its ending in the first minute, so there is no reason to stay awake for it. No sleep score. No streaks.
The paragraph
100 words, for a round-up or a listicle entry.
Most sleep aids fall into two categories: white noise, which is too empty to quiet a busy mind, and podcasts, which are too engaging to fall asleep to. Lullable sits in the gap. It narrates genuinely interesting true stories — ancient worlds, cosmic journeys, gentle nature, cozy tales — in a voice calibrated to lose you halfway through, then fades to silence on its own. The next morning it shows you a receipt: the time you stopped listening and the last line you heard. That is the only metric in the app. There is no sleep score, no grade, no streak to protect.
The angle most writers take
If you only take one idea from this page, take this one.
The sleep app that refuses to track your sleep. Orthosomnia — anxiety caused by sleep tracking itself — is a documented and growing problem. Lullable is built in deliberate opposition to it: the app measures nothing, grades nothing, and shows you no number in the morning. The only thing it tells you is where in the story you disappeared.

Why it exists
Quotable, on the record.
“I did not need my sleep measured. I needed something to think about that was not my own life. Every sleep app I tried either bored me into staring at the ceiling or interested me into staying awake. So I built the thing in between — and then made sure it told you the ending first, so there was nothing left to stay up for.”

Story ideas we will help with
- The rise of orthosomnia, and the case against giving people a sleep score they cannot act on.
- How you write a story that is designed to be abandoned halfway through — and why that is harder than writing one people finish.
- Bootstrapped, solo, and shipping into a category dominated by companies with nine figures of funding.
Happy to provide review access, additional screenshots, unreleased story audio, or a founder interview. One email and you will have it the same day.
